Shiela @ 18

FOOD TRIPPING. That’s how I define the October 19th. After the Thanksgiving, we celebrated Shiela’s (one of my High School classmates & friends) birthday.

Oh, why is it that Spongebob's in you?

Yeah! This lady was definitely the celebrant. FYI, huwag kayong maghamon ng sayawan sa kanya 'cause you might lose on the stage. She'll surely hit the floor. She's one of the cheer dancers from Baile Realle of Holy Trinity. I think I've misspelled the "Realle". haha. But; I'm open for the correction.:) Anyways, just be confident if you'll gonna ask her a singing showdown. Hehe. Watch out! Haharapin nya ang hamon mo. Palaban e! :)

I really love foods. Yummy! Hehe

Maybe the reason why Shiela's father wanted us to have this photo, was for a remembrance with Lechon. hahaha

Mera, the lady with green-colored shirt was praying for the food. I just don't know what barks Helen (the lady with yellow shirt) were saying. haha. Nahuli sa akto!

It was like a get-together celebration for us, High School friends. J If someone’s celebrating his birthday, that’s the only time we’re united, without HESITATIONS and PAGHIHIRAP. Haha

I just love my red shirt with big letter "R" printed on the center. Thanks to the boy who's wearing green. haha

 POINT:
Celebrate happiness and enjoy life.
Age is just a number while being young is an attitude. Haha. I just restated what KC Concepcion said in one of the TV ads. LOLers

Thanksgving '11

The church’s biggest event every year is the Anniversary and Thanksgiving. We had celebrated it last October 19, the day after the Variety show. It was fun and much food was prepared to accommodate many visitors and church members. It was like yummmmmmmy!!! hehe

While the service was going on inside the church, what we did was picture taking outside. haha

I was with Hannah.

Talents for Christ

The church’s back-to-back party started last October 18. The first day of celebration was the Variety Show. It was fun, jam-packed with music for Christ, and much of food tripping.

Two years ago, I was at the center stage on the same celebration. What I showed was a boring talent maybe. Haha. But I didn’t notice it when I was delivering my talent. Parang wala pa kasi akong kamuwang-muwang that time. Could you guess what I did? Haha. I recited a poem with matching gestures, foot choreography and a lot more. Haha. It was actually a passage from the 1st Corinthians 13.

The scenes made me laugh especially when I remembered what I did. It sounds embarrassing. Hindi na talaga ako uulit ngayong may muwang na ako. LOL. But, I didn’t regret it because it was for God. J Uhm. Next time, If I’ll present on the stage, I’ll do something cool, like singing. Hehe

Here are the photos during the celebration:

POINT:
We were created by God uniquely, with love. All of us can be awesome with our own talents. Let's use it for God's glory and honor.

Adios!

My uncle’s body was buried at Monte Cielo Eternal Garden (not so sure with the name of the graveyard) last October 16. That day was full of tears and mourning.

When we were in the church prior to the burial, I saw my Aunt started to sob. My cousin, uncle’s eldest son, tried to hide his emotions but I can feel that he’s not okay of course. He didn’t enter inside the church and he sat together with his relatives outside. He cannot look straight to the coffin where his father was lying. Seeing and observing him, it really squeezed my heart.

In the cemetery, our eyes were covered with sunglasses to hide the tears; our nose was covered with hanky to coat the sniff. In other words, we empathized with uncle’s family. It was really sad. But we must accept that his life was ended.

Tj's sweating when we head to cemetery. haha. Sorry, sira ang air-con. LOL
POINT:
Life must go on. We must continue living life to the fullest. We don't have something to regret when time ends if we did the most of everything, everyday.

Leaving life

It was Sunday morning, 2nd day of October, when I was sitting in a long chair while grasping the Word of God preached by our Pastor. Suddenly, my hands seek for my phone which I kept inside my bag. After I fidgeted with the inbox, I read the message coming from my cousin and notified us that my Uncle passed away. It made me cry as I remembered my Aunt (uncle’s wife) and my 5 cousins (his children). It would be hard living without the presence of a Father. It’s really hard to lose someone who’s dear to you. But, this is life! All we need to do is to accept that life is just temporary and we need to continue coursing onward.

On the afternoon of the same day, we went to St. Peter Highway to see the dead body of my Uncle. Whoooo! It was my first time to enter in the morgue and seeing corpses. Yes, we saw my Uncle’s body and it turned to be yellowish, from head to toe.

I can’t spare you pictures because probably, the captured scene will get to visit your minds when you sleep. Hahaha

POINT:
Life is unpredictable.  We can never tell how long we’ll be living. Only God knows. So, before a borrowed life will end, we must not fail to demonstrate love and care. Also, we must put up intimate relationship with God so that we’ll be assured that there will be an eternal life after an earthly death.:)
